Karen Loi


Karen Loi has over twenty years experience in economic, valuation, and litigation consulting for a broad range of corporate clients and prominent law firms in high profile, complex matters. Ms. Loi has been providing strategic insight and analysis of financial, accounting and economic aspects of litigation for business issues across a wide range of industries, including technology, entertainment, healthcare, real estate, financial institutions, manufacturing, and retail. Ms. Loi's experience includes analyzing lost profits, lost earnings, unjust enrichment, breach of contract, wrongful death and termination, business fraud and intellectual property claims as well as performing forensic investigations.

As part of her professional work, she constructs financial models to evaluate and quantify economic damages, performs multi-variate analyses of large, frequently disparate datasets, and designs graphic presentations of data and findings. Ms. Loi is highly competent with software programs for spreadsheets, databases and accounting and has testified as an expert on QuickBooks. Ms. Loi is also fluent in Cantonese and proficient in Mandarin. She has translated written communications from Chinese to English and conducted witness interviews in Chinese.
